The Technical Coordinator Leader is in charge of planning, organizing and, in some cases, to take part to the OSS interventions on Aircraft to treat the non-conformities identified by the Final Customer. He / She provides technical support to OSS operational team, administrative or on the job (as necessary), and is in charge of the hospital stock management to ensure maximum reactivity to answer Customer’s needs. He/she reports to the OSS Operations Leader based in Shanghai.
Team Management and Operations Coordination
The OSS Technical Coordinator Leader in Shanghai shall
• Retrieve and analyze the list of non-conformities raised by the Customer / Final Customer ;
• Determine and justify the liability of each non-conformity raised ;
• Retrieve documentation (drawings and/or specification and/or rework instruction) from the Safran Cabin information system to define/confirm the rework intervention sequence on A/C ;
• Assess and confirm the need for replacement parts as necessary to complete the intervention - Check on-site hospital stock and inventory on other sites and place the necessary orders/replenishment orders in the system, with support from the Toulouse OSS team as necessary ;
• Assess the need for assistance from the Customer prior to OSS interventions and raise requests accordingly;
• Plan the FAL interventions taking into consideration the following priorities ;
o A/C Milestone priorities on the current day, if any ;
o Open items (NC’s) in specified reactivity window ;
o A/C Milestone priorities on the following days, if any ;
The listed interventions for the day shall include an extra buffer to be used in the event of unforeseen situations (ex: no access in aircraft requiring re-scheduling);
• Communicate the list of interventions planned during the day to the OSS operational team intervening on A/C and collect feedback at the end of the working shift – re-schedule any intervention which could not be completed.
Key performance indicators:
• OSS reactivity (% of interventions closed within the reactivity window specified by the Customer) ;
• OSS efficiency (% of tasks completed versus planned over the day)
• OSS re-open rate (% of interventions re-open by the Customer, either due to administrative issue or poor rework quality – OSS Quality indicator)
Logistic Support
The OSS Technical Coordinator Leader in Shanghai shall:
• Organize and manage hospital stock on site, including storage and transportation (pending stockroom availability from the Customer);
• Analyze and optimize logistic procedures on site as deemed necessary for greater efficiency ;
• Review, prepare, and route part requests in the system ;
• Follow-up status of shipments to and from Home Base ;
• Monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity - Address and resolve shipment issues ;
• Address and resolve inventory discrepancies if any ;
• Liaise and negotiate with Suppliers and Retailers as necessary to support operations ;
• Answer Customer queries.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required and Focus in Engineering preferred.
Experience: Experience in Aerospace is required.
Computer Skills: Competent with MS Office programs. Knowledge of ERP (e.g. SAP) is a plus.
Other Skills: Technical Worker, knowledge of logistics (e.g. inventory management), reading and understanding of technical drawings
Additional Preferred Skills: Ability to resolve problems, ability to adapt quickly on difficult situations, willingness and /or curiosity to go beyond the normal work scope, ability to work under pressure, agility, availability
